Long journey with this band after discovering COLD SKIN in 2014. I seem to enjoy all of their incarnations and it's interesting how they have morphed into a different sound currently. Usually this is the death knell when bands do this but somehow VOL have stayed interesting despite this change. I'm not sure about Avant's claim that this is their best album yet since they've not really done any bad albums. But some amazing songs all the same.
