While I belong to the beatfull camp, I can't help but smile with this beautiful ambient medley of the familiar and unfamiliar. Enough said, just adding that "Tone Poem" is a masterpiece.
How do you summarise 32 years of one of the most prolific acts in the downtempo electronic music scene? There is so much material that you would be spoiled for choice. Regardless, this is a great introduction to Fila Brazillia or a supplement for their die-hard fans. Live long and prosper Steve and Dave!
Soft Music Under Stars, Laying Down The Law on the Lard, Blood, that's 20+ minutes of Fila goodness. Maybe not as cohesive as some of their other albums but still a must listen.
Well, I still remember when I picked up this CD back in the 90s. Nothing has changed, talent still shows. Full of innovative and varied downtempo tracks but the overall mood is what makes this special.
