This is the quintessential stoner/desert/fuzz album from back in the days when the genre was in its infancy. From start to finish, there's not a mediocre tune in the bunch. Plus, you get all the songs that were originally released independently from the album! Absolutely essential.
Can't add much to what Harry Harrison already stated, but I'll add my vote for that excellent tone. It's more first-rate instrumental grooves from Greece - must be something in the water there! If this trips your wires, be sure to check out Universal Hippies as well.
I don't know what's going on in Greece lately, but I'm sure digging it! Excellent instrumental tunes that ride comfortably alongside Mother Desert (another impressive Greek export that I just picked up).
At last! A first taste of the LONG-awaited new album from The Obsessed! This latest incarnation finds Wino and company thoroughly invigorated and spitting venom in the faces of any who doubted. Absolutely massive.
I'm still pretty new to these guys, but this one is definitely hitting all the right spots. It's what I like to call "the music of sound." Super laid-back, ethereal and spacey, it's tailor-made for dimming the lights and drifting away.
