I Am The End I Am The End
Words cannot express how happy I am that this album is now on here! One of my favorite albums of all time. Every song is brilliantly written. Lyrical genius and musical brilliance. You will be happy to have these songs stuck in your head all day. I am just so happy I can hear this again! Thank you!
  6. Coast of Silence
    by Drew McConnell's Helsinki
    Gone Gone
I could write pages about how and why Drew McConnell is amazing. Unfortunately, this has to be succinct. Helsinki is a favorite of his projects because the very nature of the music is sincere and substantive. The mostly acoustic instrumentals amplify the sentiment of the lyrics while still providing interesting, intricate, and balanced layers of sound. Reminds me of when more albums felt like your life.. As if the songs were your thoughts put to music. Could not recommend it highly enough.
  7. Woodland Whoopee Songs of Ol' Callowhee
    by King Lollipop
Cheeseburger and Fries Cheeseburger and Fries
Listening to King Lollipop is the most fun you can have listening to music. Every aspect is guaranteed to lift your spirits and your feet. When I worked in food service, this was my go to “why are people being shitty to me for no reason” album. Beyond providing me with a happy buzz, he is absolutely one of my favorite vocalists. Great guitarist too... Really, there is nothing bad I could say about his music. Buy this album!
  8. I Am An Attic
    by Nick Diamonds
In Dust We Trust In Dust We Trust
I'm not going to lie, I think that everything Nick Thorburn does is great. While you could then take this with a grain of salt, it doesn't mean I am wrong. In fact, I'm not. I Am an Attic is at times wacky, ethereal, or stochastic. All the while it still has the very Thorburnian quality of showing the listener a thoughtful significance to each song. These songs are stories. You'd be silly to not give this album a listen.
