Squids does it again! Just the fact that I can purchase this from Bandcamp and DL in WAV makes it a killer purchase! Any album with Dave Kerzner is well worth the listen and on this one, he again includes his SOC Bandmate Matt Dorsey plus Fernando and Durga! It does not get much better for us longtime prog fans.
  3. Let Go
    by Matt Dorsey
I had the pleasure hearing Matt perform some of the songs from this album at a show in NJ in 2022. This is a great collection of progressive music. It is both melodic and complex and it rocks! Of course any album with Matt and Dave Kerzner together is worth a solid listen. I pre-ordered the album and I’m looking forward to hearing it in its entirety! Great job Matt!!

~P.S For anyone who is not aware, give a listen to Sound of Contact and In Continuum.

  5. Where Am I?
    by John Beagley
How Could You How Could You
John posted the song “How Could You” and I instantly loved it. It was a bit of a preview to the new album “On the Bridge” which I purchased the day it was released. I listened to this whole album and enjoyed it so much. John Beagley is on heck of a talented songwriter and musician and I’m enjoying downloading and listening to all of his work here on Bandcamp.
  6. Not Coming Down (Live in Miami)
    by Dave Kerzner
One of my favorite songs from SOC. What a pleasant surprise to get this as a bonus when I purchased an SOC tour shirt from Dave Kerzner/Sonic Elements. I am a big fan of Dave Kerzner and all of the members of SOC and I support them and all of their projects! Rock on Squids!
  7. On The Bridge
    by Beagley / Anania
Great stuff!! You can hear the labor of love that went into this recording. Although it is unique, there are some nods to 80s era Genesis especially the double tracked drums which propel you through this themed work of art with precise yet organic precision. Add beautifully sung and written lyrics, well placed synth leads and floating, lush pads and layered vocal harmonies and you have one heck of a sonic adventure.
