The most elite Finnish Black Metal band at the moment, and one of the greatest Black Metal bands ever. As an off-spring of Sargeist, they are surpassing the master. Something makes this outstanding band different from others and I believe that something is the pure devotion to what Black Metal must be, a music for the Devil and Luciferian Illumination.

Without a doubt, the best Black Metal album of the year!

The best Norwegian Black Metal band and one of the greatest Black Metal bands ever. The nostalgic atmosphere in Djevel's music is what distinguishes it from every other band. I am still on the first few listens of this album but I could safely say that nothing in Djevel's art beats Blant Svarte Graner yet. Finally, I must add that the Kvitrim vocal performance is impeccable. This album along with Deathspell Omega's The Long Defeat are the best Black Metal albums of this year so far.

After listening to this outstanding album for few years, I can safely say that it is one of the greatest achievements in the Ritualistic/Occult Black Metal Culture; Ritualistic music combined with very compatible and crushing vocals of Saevus makes this album one of a kind. Certainly one of the top releases of the past few years, and possibly the best within Ritualistic/Occult Black Metal.

Excellent EP, and possibly would be the best one this year. The only complain is that the infernal riff at 6:27 of Flesh and Blood should have been much much longer, absolutely haunting; but they could not change it here since it appears like this in Luciferian Engravings ... Absolutely LOVE Aegrus ... There is not even a single weak or mediocre song in their entire discography ... This might piss off some people but Aegrus and Sargeist are the best Finnish Black Metal bands at the moment.
