Tracks like S'effondrer are in part absolutely terrifying. With the howling of air raid sirens to the sparse mechanical hums permeated by thumping low end beats. This is truly end of the world and post apocalyptic indeed.

Listening to this album I found myself feeling as if I'd become a part of the narrative. Moving beyond being the observer to a character within the sound and movement. Delving deep into the delicate nature of the Half Broken Horses tracks to riding the symphonic waves and dark ambience of Strange Objects, Monophonic Conversations and Dominion. Then the album slides into a darker soulful caprice with Love Is Some Damp Inertia and Rheya. The album builds tension and mood in constantly unique ways.

There's a melancholy whimsy that snakes in and out of this entire album as if there's a greater whole to its parts.
