I thought the Themes of Carnal Empowerment trilogy was the pinnacle of ESA.
Until Designer Carnage. None of this should work. Wrong from start to finish. Great beats undercut by classical, opera, jazz, death metal.
ESA seem to be able to meld this ... and make a brilliant, intense, coherent, powerful, danceable album of sheer magic.
This is beyond expectation and a true testament to an artist at the peak of their power.

Wow! This has all the promise of early Boy Harsher and doubles down on the dark and claustrophobic atmosphere.
I love the '80s beats here - really picks up the synthpop vibe. However there is no compromise to happiness.
