This is some damn solid rock, with a little stoner, a little punk, and a lot of heart. I'm a fan of the DIY recording sound, and I find this album a joy to listen to, overall.
A really satisfying mix helps the solid vocals live in stoner harmony with the great instrumentation and song arrangement. It's tough to describe why this album reaches above and beyond, but it does, and I'm excited to see what the band does in the future.
