Wow--an essential album by four gifted musicians! Each of the Messthetics and Lewis have come their own musical way to this album but this unique line-up is a solid and fiercely coherent group that sounds like no other. The compositions are sometimes ferocious, sometimes poignant, and sometimes conjure up more emotions than I can describe. Special favorites are Three Sisters, Boatly, and L'Orso (wjich I think is Italian for Bear).
