I love the music to Night in the Woods. I sleep listening to music and Night in the Woods is rather soothing compared to most of my music collection. It's not bombastic as movie soundtracks and far more varied that most video game soundtracks I've listened to. Astral Alley strongly reminds me of some of the music Joe Hisashi (a favorite composer of mine) has done for Hayoa Miyazaki's films.

It's been difficult to pick favorite tracks for the main game. Many are good and deserving of mention, especially the deeper the story goes. The music for Angus' Story sounds much more lighthearted than I remember his story being. I think that's why I liked the music so much. It could have gone into darker, more standard depths for an eerie mystery and supernatural horror story but never did, and is part of what makes NitW more an experience than a game.

I was first introduced to Night in the Woods watching someone play the preview game on Twitch and loved the music instantly. There might not be much on this album especially compared to the others but I'm glad to have it all the same. I love this version of Longest Night.
