I'm a latecomer to Wendy Rule's music: I mainly bought this because I'd heard 'Artemis' so many times on various podcasts. I've had this album playing on repeat for some weeks now. Stirring, gothic, pagan ... a majestic album.
With this album Sowulo continue to bridge the gap between the ambient soundtrack and the heart-pounding gig. I'm lucky enough to have heard them live, and like their albums they draw the past into the present.
