Of all the great songs found in this vast treasure trove of Bill Mallonee and VoL music, perhaps the greatest jewel to be discovered is the title track - Driving the Nails. What profound lyrics! It moved me to tears the first time I listened. What great music too, I’m in heaven every time I can find a song like this with a steady bass line and an emotional blues harp crying out. Neil Young could not have played this song any better!
