I love how much this music allows the listener to participate- amongst everything else, Pajjama is excellent at "playing silence" affectively.

Every part plays such a strong role, and the way that the different parts meld together creates a deep sense of immersion.

I may not listen to them as much, since there are no CDs and there is such a time commitment involved, but Pajjama is definitely one of my favourite bands of all time.

Head On/Pill being about unsafe drug use (and VERY fun), and the following track being aggravatingly problematic aside-

This album is entrancing and wonderful! Being so low-fi, it's hard to enjoy the lyrics, but the vibe is great regardless.

Let Me Mend the Past is a song so many of us have sung in our hearts, God Is Calling Me gets me through the work day, and Pop in My Step always leaves me smiling (: .
Then there's the finale... it just, IS the vibe, man~~

Melody takes a backseat in a lot these tracks, and a lot of interesting samples with jazz-piano and drums create something very unique here in the KGLW library.

It tends to be very chill, so I listen very infrequently, but after a long day, when I just need to sit with a cup of something hot, this fits like aa glove. Dusk To Dawn On Lygon Street and You Can Be Your Silhouette are my other favourite tracks.
  16. Quarters!

God Is In The Rhythm God Is In The Rhythm
    A super chill album~
Very pleasant, and very interesting soundscapes here. Great for slow mornings on days off, or long drives.

You have to commit to these songs and really submit yourself to being carried away in order to fully enjoy them, so I don't play them often when there are other songs with a higher fun-factor.
  17. I'm In Your Mind Fuzz
by King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard
Satan Speeds Up Satan Speeds Up
The beginning of an informal trilogy with Nonagon Infinity and Murder of the Universe- the base of KGLW's sound, which I like, a lot (: .
The wonderfully powerful "I'm In Your Mind Suite" can be a hard sell when you can't match its energy, but most of the b-side tracks, starting with Am I In Heaven, are great for easing into or out of higher states of activity.
