Batz channels the spirit of all the kickass alternative Rock n Roll Girl bands of the past 70's 80's and 90's The Runaways,L7,Hole also reminds of or seems influenced by NewYork Dolls,MC5 and TRex..I am not attempting to chop any ballz off by using the term "Girl bands" it is meant only in a nostalgic sense relating to a music genre ...my point is ...I dig BATZ!
  11. Lone Palm
    by The Cherry Dolls
Raw dog dirty realness as Rock n Roll should be ! I would describe this band as heavily influenced by The Stooges , MC5 ,Johnny Thunders or New York Dolls of course there are many bands out there with similar influences The Cherry Dolls are a band who gets it right ! I love the sort of country and western meets old school punk track "Power"...as well as the song "Wasted" but I really dig the whole album !I suspect these catz would be really awesome live!
  12. Night Terrors
    by BATZ
I really dig this band I describe them as If the band Hole or The Runaways and T Rex were people and had a bastard love child !Dark and edgy but at the same time high energy and all around feel good music .In my house hold we have folks from 4 different generations and everyone loves this band which says alot!!

I love this whole album it was very hard to pick a favorite track. This albums conceptual story reminded me of The Residents 1988 album God in Three Persons
