1 in a 100 of albums I sample are interesting. Of those, 1 in a 100 are good enough to buy. Of those, 1 in a 100 have a track that will stay with me for ever. Light Years is that 1 in a million.

Inventive, melodic, musical, great vocals. Five tracks are too few. Why can't there be more great bands like Moon Too?

  19. Calm Places - EP
    by Natalie Holmes
Immune To It Immune To It
After buying a couple of Natalie's albums, I checked out her Facebook page ... and found she was appearing at Southampton Sofar.

I went along. Natalie sang without a mike (the other three acts didn't). Her voice was even more amazing live.

The other acts were good, but Natalie is head and shoulders above them.

Bought the rest of her releases there and then.

Occasionally I trawl through Bandcamp looking for something new and good - very often it's a fruitless search.

    Then I found Natalie Holmes.

What an amazing voice ... beautifully crafted songs, accomplished playing.

Such a joy to find a new (to me) talent.
