    I love this two chord modal approach to harmony. Chip grooves on one chord for a while, then you go up a half step and then back down to the original chord. I believe Miles Davis was the first to use this back in the late 50s early 60's. I have a tune that uses the same kind of harmony in the bridge.     I really love when music takes me off kilter a little. It's like floating. One way to do it is write in an odd time signature like Mai did here in 5/4 meter. I like to get this same off kilter feeling when I compose also. davescheffler.bandcamp.com
