Beautiful and eerie vocals, dreamy guitars and double bass all over the place! I don't know what new subgenre these ladies have created, but I love it!

    by Jinjer
I love this version even more than the album version. Her voice is so beautiful and soulful, the band so tight, inventive and dynamic. And then the heavy part absolutely crushes! The contrast is shocking!
  12. Dark Future
    by Allagash
Destroyer of Dreams Destroyer of Dreams
Heavy, thrashy and dark yet very melodic. Eerie tunes about aliens among us with catchy melodies and riffs. This is a fun ride that you should check out!
  13. How to Get What You Want (Jonathan Fraser Remix)
by Elise Trouw & Jonathan Fraser
Her voice <3 and those dreamy guitars.
  14. Depictions of Chaos
    by Doomsday
This EP is absolutely vicious, heavy and brutal! Perfect mix of hardcore and thrash with breakdowns and guitar solos shredding all over the place. Wicked drumming and throat shredding vocals. Sick!!
  15. Black Witch
    by Zeke
Raw, tight, heavy, catchy and groovy as hell! Marky's guitar solos are incredible as always, Jeff's bass playing is amazing and Donny grooves and bashes hard on the drums!
  16. Voices EP

    Perpetual Perdition Perpetual Perdition
Brings to mind that sweet spot of 1989 - 1990 when the lines between thrash and death metal were blurred. Pestilence, Sepultura, Death and Morbid Angel come to mind. Incredible musical performances and production, catchy riffs and tunes. this is top notch death/thrash in any decade!

This is some kickass Dungeons and Dragons metal. Epic melodies, killer musicianship all around, and awesome tunes. Raise your sword and rock out!!
  19. Kill The Fool Demo 91
    by Mooncalf
Tearing Down The Temple Tearing Down The Temple
When I was a teenager back in 1991, my friend ran a fanzine and he got Mooncalf's demo. He was into death metal so he gave it to me and I was instantly sold!

This album is thrashy and progressive, but they also have many twists and turns into other genres. Kind of similar to Wrathchild America in that way.

Favorites: Title track, "Tearing Down the Temple," and "One Day."

If you like early 90s progressive thrash, check this out. You won't be disappointed!
