I've been yearning for this since I missed out on the BORLFF opening night but ultimately I've been waiting since pre-pandemic. The opening track is uplifting with synthy beeps & boops more reminiscent of 80s French electronic composers like Jarre, but while the second track "Calidad" still carries tones of adventure sci-fi epic there's a steady doomslide to a more oppressive crunchy realm & by the time we hit "Arrakeen"we're back to more classic Steady As She Goes vibes. One for the ages.
