I hum or sing these songs whenever I am on a trail in, near, or connecting to Stehekin, Wa. Of course that is where I discovered Trapper, but this album in particular resonates with it. The opening keys are the sunrise, and the "fat one for the road," is obviously a burrito for dinner at camp. Sometimes you are listening and then he drops something you mull over or that resonates like he was your best friend and was totally there when that major moment happened in your life.

I came to Delain because of the vocals. The music is good too, don't get me wrong, but Charlotte's soaring operatic highs and contrasting close whispers, while often complimented by the music, really are the highlight here.
