A lot of HNW recordings make me feel like I'm getting a friendly, big warm hug. I know they're supposed to sound abrasive or harsh or whatever, but it always feels like a warm noise blanket to me. This isn't dissimilar, as it initially gives the warm blanket vibes, but with a heavy sense of nostalgia. Kind of ground-breaking stuff here. Magnetic, engulfing sounds that have a narrative, but in a "choose your own adventure style." I'll be listening to and discovering more about this one for years.
