Better than its predecessor, an incredible treatment of the soundtrack. The Megalovania cover (of all things) is absolutely incredible; about a third of the way in it confidently discards the frantic tone of the original (and most of its covers) and becomes transcendent.

    Razor girl Razor girl
"Uroboros" is a fairly typical (although still quite good!) frantic platformer track, but "We were fine until you showed up" shows that the soundtrack is willing to enter more varied sonic territory. "Razor girl" takes it farther in a fantastic way.

    The Sentients The Sentients
The apocalypse is an extremely common setting in games, but Hyper Light Drifter revitalizes it with an extremely well-realized and distinctive style. That style is brought to further heights by this incredible soundtrack.

Did a great job of setting the mood. Listening to this music makes me feel trapped on Sudra all over again. But, like, in a good way, because that sounds kinda terrifying.

Each individual track is great, but listening to the entire album from start to finish is amazing. Also, chiptune meets prog. Especially love the key changes in a lot of these.
