  11. sunshine at the cafe ridard
    by an upside down tree
I find this music has great emotional depth and the whole recording is one of those rare things where it can be considered as one complete piece of work. The writing and musicianship is also excellent. Maybe in another era this would had been picked up by a record company, who knows, all we know is that in 2021 there is army of great musicians out there creating music in their own domestic space. Thanks Upside Down Tree for sharing your world

  18. RAGAS FROM LAHORE - improvisations with Jaubi
    by Tenderlonious
I had never heard of Tenderlonious before until a track from this recording appeared on Jez Nelson's Jazz FM Something Else show - my attention was immediately engaged. Do we need another Indian crossover recording, when it is this calibre yes we do - to be counted in the long line of greats; Don Cherry, John Mayer, Shakti, Garbarek Khan, Mariano Karnataka, Hollow Bamboo, Zakir Hussain ..... this music has so much depth and vitality. This musician is destined for great things. Love this.
