April is a badass riff-rock tune with a hook so catchy my 3-year old sings along to the chorus. Economical songwriting with a nice little modulation in the bridge and drum fills reminiscent of early Foos. Wish I helped write it!
Plenty of hooks, chugging riffs, brilliant guitar tones, odd time signatures, modulations in the bridge, and perhaps Neil's most cohesive mix yet make the opening track a standout.
