  5. True View
    by Stick To Your Guns
Married To The Noise Married To The Noise
I can understand why this one gets overshadowed by the rest of their discography, but there are still some great heavy songs on this album. I especially enjoy the message behind a number of the songs. It may come as a surprise that this was my true introduction to Stick To Your Guns, so this one holds a special place in my heart.

Circle With Me Circle With Me
Spiritbox did something special with this. It's refreshing seeing a frontwoman and hearing a female voice in this genre. Courtney LaPlante totally dominates! I love how "Circle With Me" really channels their inspiration from Architects.

Pray For Rain Pray For Rain
This album made me fall in love with breakdowns and heavy music in general all over again.
  11. TRILOGY
    by Carpenter Brut
    Turbo Killer Turbo Killer
    Unquestionably the best of synthwave.
  12. The Darkness and The Light
    by Scandroid
The End of Time The End of Time
These two albums in one offer both synthpop and darksynth tracks. "Writing's on the Wall" feels like a love letter to "Sweet Dreams." Scandroid has a fantastic discography and continues that trend.
  13. ERRA
    by ERRA
    Gungrave Gungrave
ERRA is probably their best album since Augment and marks an exciting turning point in the band reinventing themselves.
  14. Sleeptalk
    by Dayseeker
    Crooked Soul Crooked Soul
A perfect blend of hard rock with pop song structures. Rory's vocals are top-tier. "The Color Black" and "Sleeptalk" are my two other favorites. Not a track one this album is wasted on the listener though.
  15. Dark & Beautiful Secrets
    by Normandie
    Hostage Hostage
    Criminally underrated.

I love how we get to hear the drummer show off more of his technical prowess on this album.

Lock & Key (featuring Joshua De La Victoria) Lock & Key (featuring Joshua De La Victoria)
Everything is technical yet soooooo freaking catchy. This album serves as a great example that the two can live in harmony.
  20. The Shape of Colour
    by Intervals
    Sure Shot Sure Shot
Definitely not what I was expecting after A Voice Within which had a vocalist, but certainly fantastic. Aaron is clearly a talented guitarist as he is able to write things that sound so fun and catchy. I hear subtle hints of Periphery and early Polyphia.
