    The Shallows The Shallows
I've loved this album for more than two years now, and I still love it to this day. A beautiful, charming and well-written piece of music with deeply atmospheric songs. I particularly love the lyricism on the title track. "It will take a better man to admit defeat".

I'm Going To Do It I'm Going To Do It
Disturbing and intense yet beautiful collection of experimental rock songs. The unnerving lyricism and soundscapes create a truly special and honest piece of music about suicidal depression 0_0
  9. Antichamber Double-Album
by Siddhartha Barnhoorn and Robin Arnott
    Beginnings I Beginnings I
Beautiful, meditative ambient. Harmonious drone from Siddharth followed by wonderful nature sounds from Robin.

After discovering them from Andromeda Skyline, this album is yet another brilliant piece of music filled with deep sounds, well-layered synths, beautiful songwriting and hypnotic vocals. This was a highly anticipated album and it lived up to my expectations easily. Also, I cried XD

Intense and powerful post-metal that brilliantly portrays and builds its dark moods in masterful ways. The title track though...

Beautiful experimental post-metal that is dark and intense yet dream-like.

    Paradox Paradox
Another moving and relaxing ambient orchestral album from this wonderful composer. More subtle that his previous works, but that works to its advantage. It was wonderful hearing the old single Departures on here.

Contemplation Of The Beautiful (feat. Eric Zirlinger) Contemplation Of The Beautiful (feat. Eric Zirlinger)
An epic prog metal album with complex and inspiring songwriting, huge sounds and amazing guest vocals. In my opinion, the band hits hard without feeling cheesy. Not to mention how much there is to discover - I still find new things with each listen. And that last song...freaking intense!!

The Last Dive of David Shaw The Last Dive of David Shaw
This album showcases many beautiful atmospheres and amazing build-ups to powerful climaxes. The melodies are wonderful and the ambitious song structures are phenomenal as well. I also love the structure of the album, how it starts off very accessible, before the later tracks get more experimental and ambitious. The stories behind each song are the real reason why I would consider this album to be a masterpiece.
  19. Damaged Interface
    by Rashida Prime
    {unworthy} {unworthy}
A hidden gem in the field of ambient music. Rashida Prime creates deeply calming, stimulating and gorgeous soundscapes by combining beautiful textures and sounds over haunting melodies and chord progressions. The entire album is very varied without ever losing its distinct cyberpunk atmosphere. The best part is that it reminds me a little bit of Disasterpeace's ambient side at times. Go check it out :)
