I've always been very fascinated by indie video game makers and musicians, because of all of the interesting things they can come up with. These albums are good examples of what piques my interest.

Raw, powerful, and very melodic, this album is an amazing collection of progressive synth tracks with cool influences of metal and Bach. For those of you who loved the Super Meat Boy soundtrack, love metal or chiptune music, or video game music in general, be sure to check this one out! Really digging the VGM covers on soundcloud by the way! 9/10

An excellent follow-up to Preschtale. This album takes everything that made Preschtale great and not only takes it on a whole new different direction, but improves on it as well. The production is something I would consider perfect, and the music in this album was handled more tastefully (Preschtale at times sounded a little overly complex), while still keeping it interesting and engaging. Amazing. 9/10

While I'm not the biggest fan of chiptune, I really liked this album. The sound palette has a lot more texture than his older works, while still giving off a retro vibe, fitting the complex nature of his music. The whole album is one exciting journey, with some killer synth and guitar playing, awesome progression, reminiscent of Mike Oldfield, and great production. While the high pitches are annoying at times, that's only a minor gripe. Great job, C-jeff! 9/10

I know David Peretz for making great Isreali pop-folk music, but I also enjoy his ambient works, for they are a nice change of pace. This one is an interesting ambient concept album that creates a lot of cool, beautiful soundscapes. Very nice. 8/10
