A powerful & sobering tour-de-force commentary on modern American culture, highlighted by the expansive guitar & adept programming that have been the trademark of this lot since their formative years. As a concept album, CONSTRUCT rivals the likes of Queensrÿche's OPERATION: MINDCRIME in tone & temperament, evoking the discomfort of a collective look in the mirror. For those who still value physical presentation in music, the packaging is an exquisite artistic touch rarely seen these days.

    Hallusin8 (1996 EP) Hallusin8 (1996 EP)
A capsule glimpse of the premier (and at times, ONLY) ElectroIndustrial act holding it down in the ATL throughout the 90's. As CAGE, these gents put on some of the most captivating and exhilarating live performances available at the time; a tightrope balance of technical precision, groove, manic energy, and vibrational "otherness" matched by few, even today. A collective dedication to quality, whether in the studio or on stage - this collection is a product of the former.

    I Believe I Believe
I can't really state it any better than the product page. This album could have/should have been a milestone in the pantheon of guitar-driven Alt/Art Rock albums of the early 90's, and the folks at Flashback have done a magnificent job resurrecting it from oblivion. A 22-year dream finally realised. What a gift! [Note to those purchasing digital only: Download the FLAC version. Compare formats in a wave editor and you'll see why.]

    Tell Tiles Tell Tiles
The last time I heard this collection of music was on a scratched-up unmarked cassette obtained from God-knows-who sometime in 1990, and I STILL have it. For me to have kept up with an old tape for that long says something about the music it contains. The Mundahs were special for their ability to set a mood; they could make a dark dive bar in Buckhead seem like a beach party. IMHO, musically on par with the best regional acts of the period: Swimming Pool Q's, Guadalcanal Diary, Connells, et al.

Goodbye to Joey Goodbye to Joey
Conclusion to the party started on Disc 1. This set was the soundtrack to many a Spring Break/Summer Vacay for lots of people back in the day, when a frosty drink and a good pair of shades were requisite. A nearly-lost gem for those who appreciate the classic analog hiss and reverb of pre-digital live recordings, without which it wouldn't be nearly as cool. A window into a better time...so very glad to find it here!

Never Odd Or Even Never Odd Or Even
Levitation were the band that Radiohead wanted to be. This is the first of two 2015 releases of material that has languished in obscurity for 20+ years, by one of the most exquisitely talented and woefully under-acknowledged bands in modern music history. For those who suffered the misfortune of missing out on the phenomenon that was Levitation, this EP serves as a primer for the full-length release due later this year, the album that should have been the band's masterwork. Sublime.
