My first Black Dresses album. The two members have since become some of my favorite artists of all time. It still holds up as my favorite, Ive experienced not much like it in terms of raw soul and love and desperation and pain. Forever etched into my heart.
I am writing this moments after finishing marielda, and I cant even come up with any words to express my feelings. This album and this season are both emotional rollercoasters with some of the best characterization of both a place and set of characters ive heard. The first track Marielda pulled me into the season from the moment I heard it in episode one and by the end it still hit just as hard, but with new meaning and depth. Nothing hits like I have seen the stars though. Made me cry.
definitely the Rav album I come back to most. Has a little bit of everything I like about his music and some of the hardest hitters that get stuck in my head over and over.
