An undeniable atmospheric masterpiece. Quite possibly the best Spirit of Iuvenium album yet, which is saying a lot. The great Lord Chieftan Conifer claims a mastery of both composition and mood on this brief journey that introduces some much needed warmth and optimism to compliment the project's darker moments. I only wish this was longer, and that I could inhabit the world that this album so impeccably builds.

For those curious about how a Ranseur album with softer, more New Age-sounding synths would sound, look no further. Ranseur has crafted yet another magical release this time Still definitely Ranseur in style and composition, the tones and timbres are a little more mystical, mysterious and ethereal. With all the wonderful rhythmic magic that we've come to expect from Ranseur over the years, this one shouldn't be missed.

One of the most criminally underrated albums I've ever heard. This album creates a genuinely disturbing and uncomfortable atmosphere that is, at times, overwhelmingly immersive. When it comes to Dungeon Synth and its adjacent genres and subgenres, I have yet to come across an album as powerfully dark as this one. It's a tall statement, but I stand by it. More people need to listen to this album, and I dearly hope that this artist creates more in the future.

Absolutely incredible album. If this ends up being my favorite album of 2019, I would not be at all surprised. So far, it is the best collection of music released this year, no contest. Meticulously composed, arranged, and produced, this album has it all, with powerful vocals and melodies that will never leave you. This is an absolute must-listen.

When the trail is long, and the body is wracked with dysentery, there may be nothing more fitting to listen to.
