  1. Drowning In The City Lights (Demo)
    by Spring-Heeled Jack
Upbeat synth/piano rock put together by some really talented musicians. Great to hear something this unique in Exeter’s alternative scene. The track perfectly captures the feeling of being lost in a grungy cyberpunk city and the warmth & brightness of finding another human connection there. Looking forward to the no-doubt spicy time signatures in Spring-Heeled Jack’s next release :D

    Transylvania Twist Transylvania Twist
I love how every song is catchy and tells a story and there's pretty much no filler. It also moves away from cliché horrorpunk themes (or at least puts a new spin on them) and more into the realm of witches, vengeful children and deceased deities...
This album is probably my fave release of 2016. Looking forward to whatever Cadaver Club do next.
Favourite tracks: Transylvania Twist, Southern Cemetery, Follow Me To Hell and See You on the 31st

  9. American Gothic

A bit different from the songs on Creature Feature's other albums. I like the background music better (the guitar is so spooky and grungy sounding) and the incoherent growling voice at the beginning is awesome. So is the bridge. The song is very spooky but lacks the kind of black humour which I love CF for. Overall though this is my favourite song on the new album (so far).
  10. With Absolute Method
    by Colour In Conflict
THIS IS SO POWERFUL AND RAW AND DARK. The bit where he belts out 'come to me darling and I'll be your atrophy' is definitely my favourite part because there's so much emotion. It's captivating.
