The Place Where He Inserted the Blade The Place Where He Inserted the Blade
Lush chamber pop instrumentation, dynamics drawn from post-rock, and some of the most heart-wrenching vocal performances I've heard in a while. Hope you're doing well, Isaac.

In The Garden(demo) In The Garden(demo)
Interesting to hear some of the sounds left out of the final product, as well as the progress the songs made from this to Another Light.
  13. Stranded
    by Red Vox
A very spaced out track that sounds like if most modern (retro) prog was actually good, and multiplied in awe by a factor of 6. Such a great track!

Never Gonna Win Never Gonna Win
An interesting semi-acoustic project that kind of falls through at times, but can be seen as a stepping stone to a Red Vox we might not see for a long while.

    Roid Rage Roid Rage
One of my favorite shitpost albums.

Ode to an African Violet Ode to an African Violet
Thanks for this reissue of this (mostly) forgotten synth classic! Great to hear the album in its original mix on vinyl without spending $200+ for an original, and in general, the album in digital sounds fantastic, if compressed a bit.
  17. What Could Go Wrong
    by Red Vox
In A Dream In A Dream
This was definitely a precursor as to what Vin & Co. would pull together for Another Light, and it has a pretty good style to it as well! I was hyped when I heard the Another Light guitar line when it came out and noticed it was the end of 'In a Dream', as though these albums are connected with Vinny's songwriting style evolving through time.

The Flail Of God ( Warlord ) The Flail Of God ( Warlord )
It's hard to hear this album and not hear Joel's voice as anything other than Joel... pretty fantastic death metal otherwise!

Thanks other Adam for making a vid on these guys!
