I was thrown for a loop at first because I thought it would be more complex, but then humbly reminded how powerful the root of the song can be and how good and experienced Hum is. This album is exactly what my ears needed right now, and I'm sure many more thousands and thousands of people. These people (Hum) are writers beyond experience. They've taken everything they've ever observed and learned through music, shot it into their hearts and spat it out into their instruments. This is perfect.
