I don't think this album could have released on a more fitting day. Right now there is miserable torrential rain over Sydney acting as the perfect backdrop to hear this album the first time. As mentioned in another listeners comment, it's a big progression from early Austere and the guitar melodies will really resonant with fans of early katatonia offerings.
Beneath the Threshold is a beautiful arrangement of melancholic soundscapes that deserves a place in any DSBM fans collection. Well done!
