You know this was a but of a blind purchase for me but I saw there was 1 CD left so I rushed to get it. Man that paid off. I saw this band got a decent amount of hate on Metallum so this must be a big improvement for them because I see nothing to hate on here. This is top tier aggressive death metal of the more atmospheric variety with everything from some ambience and clean guitar licks thrown in for good measure. If only more death metal was like this I just might fall in love with the genre.

It's a real shame this band broke up, because this band's recording are easily among the most unique things I've seen coming out of the metal scene. This is functionally a lushly textured dark ambient piece, but it's composed of guitar drones and scattered symbol percussion. The vibe of this track is truly unique; and I won't try to box it in, but rather simply urge you to pick up this fine release and support one of the best metal bands of the last decade.
