In true 1tr style, this album stays abrasive and loud, but also features more ambient and clean, almost empty passages. Reflecting this sentiment, thematically it is on the edge of this balance too, between self-enforcement and deep introspection. It certainly has an experimental feel to it. More harmonic freedom, dipping into atonality, awkwardly rhythmicised "sprachgesang", but also shouted chorus vocals and experimentation with quietness. A journey. And a really good one.

As a mix of metalcore, funk and other elements, with catchy choruses, sonically richly filled sections of guitar melodies and synths, this album impresses by being one of it's kind on audiotool. With its emphasis on the melodic parts of metal, use of brightness and alternative meters it creates a nerdy, but incredibly engaging and powerful atmosphere.

Agressive and relentless, this EP does not shy away from rough sounds, inharmonic to atonal, and yet coats them in a simple, but regardless, melodic setting. What comes out is relentless, violent and anxiety-inducing in all the good ways. Plus the last track asks for a stank face and headbang.

People mention the sound-design a lot, which is important, but to me it's the emotional composition in this. The strings or pads make me ascend.
