A slight improvement over the already fantastic 'Depression Cherry'. 'Thank Your Lucky Stars' is all Beach House through and through - dreamy, hazy and simply a delight to your ears. Beach House always makes it seem so easy in making beautiful records. The album sound is smaller but nevertheless together with the the additional bleakness in the lyrics adds a little more weight and bite and sets it slightly apart from Depression Cherry.
