One of the more autumnal collections of music I've heard - red gold, leafy, full of mood and transformative energy - that grows richer and richer with deep and repeated listens.
Finely wrought emo - big hearts and plenty of palm muting, but a thoughtfulness and a complexity often missing from this kinda music. *Really* excellent drumming on this.
No larger than a man's fist, the warbler - with its hollow bones and its strong heart - ascends effortlessly to heaven. The guitars rise and the crash cymbals rejoice. Our blood is warm, and the violin plays.
