Braxton Hicks is an indie-pop band from the First State. Members Carrie Baith, Bill Bush, Rod Whisner, Roger Hillis and Mike Fernandez met and quickly realized they shared a vision of creating melodic yet slightly off-kilter indie-pop, infused with influences as diverse as Middle Kids, The Smiths, The Cure, Sleater-Kinney,The Beths, The Pixies, The Police and U2.
