With 8ohEight's Pay-Per-View, I am able to lose my identity through the presented concept of the individual spending their day soaking in the substance of (then) contemporary media whilst simultaneously, i'm able to soak in the carefully meditative messages composed through sounds clearly curated with intention.

I've been with this album for the last few months & a new favorite emerges every time. Antoje's work was unknown to me previous to this but now, I am excited to hear how creative the genre bending can be within the world of electronic music saturation. That's what gridlock is; saturation. I want it all.

China Club created one of the most sonically rich experiances I've had this year. since finding this tape. The tracks keep me guessing. The sporadic samples are placed in the best spots to enrich the collage. Listen to the last track..several times

REY; the self-proclaimed journalist, continually acknowledges the concept of balance; it’s importance & endlessness. From the powerful and autobiographical ‘Shut Up Mijo’ (prod. DJQ) to the vulnerable & mindful ‘Trying Freestyle’(prod. RND1); Lost Child is continually laced with anecdotal wisdom. We are walked through love lost, carried through the immobile & hoisted to a reality that is both beautiful & tragic to not only the southwestern soul, but the human soul.

Kirlian is an intimate manifesto, blurring lines between wisdom & instability. The atmosphere is lavish, smokey & devious. Though, that is not without its measure of esoteric persuasion. Through a pouring of acid jazz & Deep funk, Kirlian seeks to transfer the energy of sustainable change to the willing listener.

tragically short but in the best way. I look forward to what's next, though I also don't think that needs to be too soon. this is satisfying energy to run back to over and over. it's all done without any hesitation from the listeners standpoint. An ego check accompanied with acceptance with brutal wit. This is easy to get behind.

Saturn - EP produces sense of charming nostalgia in the objectives set by Bee. Prevalent through many years of auditory craftsmanship, the work feels like a mosaic with one single pulse. I really enjoy the moods scored throughout the runtime. From anger to poignancy within deep human relation, Saturn blends our emotional complexity, delegated by calculated sampling & simple but determined rhythms.
