Okay. Leave Me Free is a killer spotlight, but Serpent is the most accessibly radio-friendly presented here.

But Gypsy Trip is fucking downright transcending. This track, like the whole EP, grabs you by your horns and drags you on a journey, to places far and wide.

Another epically groundshifting journey from Alameda's favorite sons of doom metal. While maintaining their established sound, there are many new layers of TVSKmanship to listen to on this one. Expanded lyrical exploration and implementation. Percussive travel across new sonic galaxies. Add to that a background concept hard at work, and what has been crafted here is a clear distillation of their evolution. Well done, gentlemen, well done.

Bird is a mesmerizing crown jewel for this disarming record.
While not a live track, like the majority of the album, it is a naturally joyously unbound Wonder classic.
Starting Line and Finger On The Pulse are the erstwhile signature tracks offered here.
Each of these songs is unique (while exploring two different tones), but both exquisitely highlight Wonder's ability to infuse message and earworm melodies into immediate playlist regulars.
While Minutes echoes many of these same sensibilities, Stay Put has some of my favorite lyrics.
Spoiler Alert: Strings is the buried gem on this record.
Waiting in the weeds of the second-to-last track, this song is a downright celebration.
I love everything about this album.

Heavy and dragging the swamp for more. This is one fantastic record, front to back. If you have ever considered blowing out your headphones and contracting tinnitus for the sake of the riff, this is the album to which to do it. \m/

Saw them shred live at an abandoned skate park in the Lower Bottoms of Oakland; what an absolute hoot!
Lead Singer with endless energy and a Co-Singer with heavenly pipes, add on killer guitars and hypnotic drums and you are starting to get it.
