  1. Bird Seed
    by Whitehouse
Wriggle Like A Fucking Eel Wriggle Like A Fucking Eel
The relentless attack upon my musical ear may have taken me a while to become desensitized to, but the feelings of exhaustion and bewilderment still remain. If Bird Seed is a gut-wrenching warning to all those lousy, filthy, good-for-nothing scumbags out there who prey upon the innocent, then let it play. They all better run.
  2. Everywhere at the end of time
    by The Caretaker
B1 - All that follows is true B1 - All that follows is true
A sad, yet highly empathetic, glimpse of the world through the view of a mind in decline. If "Everywhere At the End of Time" is the story of a lonely soul slowly losing his grip of his senses within what remains of his reality, then we all know what the final chapter will entail. There will be no surprises, no detours, along the path to complete erasure.

Aisle 5 (Moonlight, Urban Skylines, and Rapid Eye Movement) Aisle 5 (Moonlight, Urban Skylines, and Rapid Eye Movement)
A fantasy Japanese grocery store that sells more memories than dragonfruit comes to life as a musical adventure that's one part yesterday, and one part distant future. The present is not on sale today. No coupons, no blue light specials. Grab a cart, remember what you came here for, and enjoy your time shopping with us.
  4. Public Broadcasting Service
    by Robustom
the report of now the report of now
Nostalgia is an unrelenting foe. It hits you right in the gut and you remember it forever. From WGBH Boston's unforgettable logo bumper to Big Bird's realization that ol' Mr. Hooper is most certainly not coming back to Sesame Street, Robustom takes us back to the heyday of PBS programming of the 80's and 90's and does so with respect for both the era and those who simply can't (won't) forget days gone by.
  5. Exit simulation
    by Infinity Frequencies
Awaiting the future Awaiting the future
The four years' worth of being stuck between two separate dimensions come to a finale with "Exit Simulation." This is where we arrived at. Infinity Frequencies once again places us directly in the center of a location just off-the-map, yet close enough to feel so strangely familiar that we've certainly been there before. Infinity Frequencies' knack for taking the ominous and making it sentimental is on full-effect here. Lose yourself in "Embracing Catastrophe" and "Awaiting the Future."
  6. Toxic Water - L.F.A.F.
    by TOXIC WATER
Perpetual Data Mine Perpetual Data Mine
Given my other 'reviews,' this album sticks out for me like a sore, swollen, and begging-for-amputation thumb. This is not the album I should enjoy as much as I do. I expected an amateurish mishmash of dead styles of darkwave and what I received was an incredible collection of legitimate homages and tributes to goth/industrial/post rock, and what Siouxsie Sioux's imaginary wild cousin would express through a Banshee-like fever dream. It's harsh, yet vibe-heavy. Fantastic!
  7. Between two worlds
    by Infinity Frequencies
The time that remains The time that remains
The beginning of a dream. One that takes you back to a memory that may not even be yours. Perhaps it's another you, lost somewhere in a different dimension. Infinity Frequencies has bridged the gap between reality and the dreamworld with "Between Two Worlds." It's an eerie, lovely trip to a place we can't quite find...to see people we don't quite recognize.
  8. Ghost Colored Halo
    by lovesliescrushing
Blacklight Thundering Halo Blacklight Thundering Halo
I own albums that represent moments or are best played when experiencing a particular moment. For me, "Ghost Colored Halo" is the best album to choose when taking a summer drive to my old home. Lovesliescrushing is a bit of a nostalgic duo for me, so the feelings I get from the mood they present in their sound go well with how I feel returning to my old stomping grounds. Some people dream of the future, I dream of the past. LLC doesn't know me personally, but it's hard for me to tell at times.
