Born in Harlem and raised on the Upper West Side of NYC, Bobby began playing guitar at 12 years old. By 16 he played Carnegie Hall with Sonny Rollins and Donald Byrd. Heralded as “one of the most musical guitarists of our times,” Bobby has won DownBeat Critics’ and Readers’ Polls and has released 12 albums as a leader.
