I love their lyrical style as it makes ya wanna pick up a dictionary without making ya feel dumb. Personally, I am going with The Sporting Life for my favorite as it captures such a microcosm of adolescent life.
This was such a wonderful discovery from my recommended videos on my Youtube channel. I knew I had to check if it was on Bandcamp as soon as I heard it. Wonderful mix of sing-songiness, distortion, and sheepishness.
I knew nothing about Squirrel Flower going into this. I loved the album front to back as it reminds me of so much music that I enjoy. Her beautiful voice is an awesome contrast to the fuzz of the guitars. It was tough to choose a favorite song.
I bought this on a whim because I liked the album art. I initially listened to it at work and the fun, poppy, energy of the album carried me throughout the day. It was a pleasant surprise.
Been a long time fan of Jamboree. I can't believe I've never really ventured into their other albums. This album was so good start to finish. Beat Happening has a masterful way of making the most simple rhythm addicting and enchanting. This is another album where it is hard to choose a favorite song.
