What a note to end the series on. The second half of HWH8 is as grand of a finale as they come for Westside Gunn, with the mix of grime and luxury being perfectly balanced and elevated on this album. The production is consistent yet varied, consisting of beats that are grimy and ominous and others that are characterized by soul and glamour. On top of all this, almost every feature is masterfully picked and included, and Gunn's guests arrive in top form to deliver their verses. Amazing album.

The reunion of Mach-Hommy and Westside Gunn is one that was overdue but well worth the wait. West's curational abilities are on point here as the beat selection is fantastic and Mach-Hommy delivers several amazing performances whether he's dropping intricate lyrics or singing. His usual embrace of his Haitian identity and Haitian Creole is the cherry on top, giving "Pray For Haiti" Mach's personal touch/flair.
