BJ Simmons is a saxophonist and composer who has performed around with jazz, gospel, and R&B greats such as Harvey Mason, Millie Jackson, and Wale, and at prestigious music festivals including the DC Jazz Festival, Bahrain Jazz Festival, Richmond Jazz Festival, and Monterey Blues Festival. BJ is also committed to educating public school students in his hometown of Washington, D.C.
