    Narcissus Narcissus
Fridolijn is a marvel, her voice clear as crystal, bright as a summer sun, soft and sensual without being weak or overpowered by her music. She's a wonderful singer/songwriter and jazz-tinged folk artist using instruments uniquely with quirky, kitschy cool chords and progressions and a blues-infused, though unobtrusive, backbeat to support the modern folk sound that allows her vocals to soar. The wordplay and beautiful melodies backing her translucent singing creates a dreamlike state; think of floating upon the sounds below, held afloat by Fridolijn's dulcet, radiant voice as it synthesizes with the instruments,. To listen to this young lady is ethereal. I'm so thankful to have found this incredible artist.
NARCISSUS is pure magic. This beautiful song, a tragic look at a love that's grown overbearing, selfish, one-sided, and the irony therein is heavy and quite poetic, is perfect. The track is marvelous, musically, and splendidly penned with sad but brillant lyrics.

Don't be afraid (to be afraid) Don't be afraid (to be afraid)
Every track is awesome! This is a great follow up to Queen Of The Surreal, to which I still listen at least once a week; it never gets old.
Keep on writing, playing and recording, Sma! I told you before and I'm telling you again; you're going places, you're going to make it big.
I hope all is well for you in London, kiddo.
