  6. You Can Have The Crown
    by Sturgill Simpson
    track 00:00/00:00
Despite my hesitancy to embrace scatological imagery, this song is so damn good and so lyrically perfect, it's my favorite from the whole album. Sturgill's got it right--you can have the motherf%*&g crown.
  7. High Water
    by The Resolectrics
    featured track 00:00/00:00
Keep on Crowin' Keep on Crowin'
My friend Tate Peterson is an amazing songwriter and guitarist. and in the company of his Resolectric bandmates, this is just pure, great music.
  8. The Barn Birds
by Jonathan Byrd and Chris Kokesh
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
We Used To Be Birds We Used To Be Birds
This is a great album, but if you want to be totally blown away, try J Byrd's seminal album, Law & the Lonesome. It's on my top 10 albums of all time. Song writing of the highest order through every track. And by the way, check out Chris Kokesh's October Valentine---another album for the ages.
