I came for the metal, but stayed for the synthwave (outrun, darksynth, retrosynth, etc.)! Don't mind also some ambient and chillout stuff once in a while .:)

"Abandon all hope, ye who enter here"... Dante was not harboring much hope of listening to good music during his escapade across Hell. But that changed forever when Occams Laser came forth and at last the nine circles were filled with the sound of his devilish dark synths. }:>
Synthwave takes on a different spin with this project inspired by Norse mythology. Music where traditional and modern coexist in a mix powerful enough to bring warmth to the denizens of Niflheim.
A bombastic, epically cinematic experience that would be a most fitting synthwave soundtrack to "Mars Attacks!". Put your tin foil hat on, crank up the volume and watch aliens' heads blow up like popping balloons.
Spooktacular! 💀 Loved the first installment of the series, the second left me a little indifferent, but this third chapter is totally on a different level, blows the others away.
Beware, heedless ones: the Dragon is back and his bite remains oh so powerful. Hard-hitting darksynth continues to beat at the core of Symbiote, but gone is the somewhat gothic touch of earlier albums: I like the change, keeps this album fresh!
Sexy Japanese lyrics are just one of the many delights on offer here! Do you have the Guts to take on supernatural ninjas, demons and cyborgs as you listen to this killer album with its infectiously addictive tracks? :)
Cable was right after all: dubstep lives again, incorporated by WAM in their music as they brought to life this new creature of theirs. And while the flow of the tracks in the band’s earlier album still sounds better to me, the choice to experiment further with their sound is commendable and ultimately “Triangle Unicode” comes out as a solid work with a lot to offer to fans both old and new.
Superbly crafted bass lines and a perfect fusion between modern and traditional. Exactly what I'd expect to hear in the narrow alleys and among the skyscrapers of a retro-futuristic cyberpunk Tokyo.
Cut from the same cloth as Nocturn, this album picks you up where the previous left off, with more of the perfectly balanced combination of dark, dreamy and energetic sound delivered by Tonebox.
The BYHAE mod may have been abandoned, but fortunately its soundtrack was not: a Doom-inspired album that will literally pound your hearing into submission, let's rip and tear!
