The Place Where He Inserted the Blade The Place Where He Inserted the Blade
This album is something special. I love the emphasis on melody on this album, the fact that the piano has a more common place this time around, and the arrangements are amazing. Really great work!
  3. Feel Seen
by mingjia & the tortoise orchestra
    Friend Friend
Her chord changes are exactly what I was looking for. THIS is the kind of stuff that makes me love music! Wonderful instrumentation and arrangements, beautiful melodies, and surprisingly really good production! Make an album ASAP.
  4. Morphing Machineminds
    by Titan to Tachyons
Really cool stuff. Almost like if a technical death metal band got really into the avant-prog scene and let their compositions feel a little looser in a way.

  5. Television Show (Live)
by Ethan P. Flynn feat. Black Country, New Road
An incredibly cool mix between experimental rock and pop structures. Melodically complex and actually very catchy. Love it.
  6. To R.
    by FATHER JOHN MISTY
Great songwriting as always. Hopeful that a new FJM album will be arriving soon! Need another batch of great songs to add to my playlists!

I don't know why I bought this in May but I am worried they will eventually take it down so I want to have it for this winter. #TBE

    Daddy's Home Daddy's Home
I love the melodies on here, they are infectious! As a fairly new St. Vincent fan I have to say I am very impressed! Interesting chord progressions, unique sounds, great melodies, great voice, I'm hooked!
  9. Slow (Loud)
    by black midi
black midi is really evolving to become one of the most unique rock bands out there right now. This track's unique blend of jazz, experimental rock, and prog proves to be a standout moment for the band and makes me very, very excited for Cavalcade.
  10. Brian's Song (Post-Spiderland Demo)
    by Slint
For some reason the electronic drum sound fits very nicely with the track. This sounds like something that could fit very well in a film.

Really interesting production, love that Pajo is still bringing that Slint influence to the music.
  13. Fear of Death
    by Tim Heidecker
Tim proves himself as an interesting voice in folk music at the moment with this captivating track.
