  3. One
    by Snapdragon
First good day First good day
Snapdragon's music in this album, which ranges from pop to folk sounds, is well put together. It keeps me coming back, and I hope they keep producing music!
  4. She Waits
    by The Gray Havens
Three Birds In Babylon Three Birds In Babylon
The Gray Havens continue to evolve in all the best ways. Their newest album is full of thought provoking lyrics and musical hooks that will keep you coming back for more.
  5. Ghost of a King
    by The Gray Havens
Ghost in the Valley Ghost in the Valley
The Grey Havens are a very talented group of musicians, which is shown throught their coupling of thought provoking lyrics and briliant musical composition. They have easily become one of my favorite bands!
  6. Always Forward
by Marshall Gilkes & the WDR Big Band
    Switchback Switchback
This is one of my favorite big band jazz albums, hands down. The original compositions are exquisite, and the playing matches to suit!
  7. Toccata:Touched
    by Alex McCartney
    Gagliarda, Book 3, G. G. Kapsberger Gagliarda, Book 3, G. G. Kapsberger
This uncommon instrument is handled exceptionally well by Alex McCartney in this album. As a result, he has created a depth of sound that I think is equally uncommon in solo instrumental pieces!
  8. Tales of Eyam
    by Oka Vanga
The Witching Hour The Witching Hour
Not only are the stories in each song told exceedingly well, but the musical composition follows suit with this EP. It's a pleasure to listen to!
  9. Fluke LP
    by Frances Luke Accord
    Egoeye Egoeye
Frances Luke Accord has created something beautiful and intruiging! They break with traditional (western) chord progressions to fashion something unique and bafflingly pleasing to listen to.
  10. Setting Sail
    by Mr & Mrs Something
Home Will Be Home Will Be
Mr & Mrs Something are a lovely and talented duo that I had the fortune to see live, and I can't wait to see them again soon!

  12. Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji

  14. Ocarina of Time
    by Super Guitar Bros
    Kaepora Gaebora Kaepora Gaebora
The Super Guitar Bros very talented, and they nailed it on the head with this album. Each song is covered flawlessly!
  15. Grizzly Caterpillar
    by Alan Gogoll
    Mulberry Mouse Mulberry Mouse
This album is a great example of solo guitar work! The percussive and energetic melodies effortlessly weave a narrative throughout the whole album.
  16. The Lake part 1 (acoustic)
    by AJ Hickling
    Deep Night Deep Night
There aren't proper words to describe AJ Hickling's piano solo pieces. When he plays, it would seem that he takes in all his surroundings and pours it into his music. The result is a beautifully stirring piano composition, the likes of which I haven't heard before. I see the painting AJ makes with his music, and it is a masterpiece.
  17. Nice.
    by Super Guitar Bros
  18. Everything and Nothing
    by Hammock
    Clarity Clarity
Hammock, in my mind, is one of the great masters of the ambient soundscape. In this album, they have brought in more vocals and expanded their sound from their previous endeavors. I think this album is on par with Oblivion Hymns in sheer impact. It's another masterpiece, perfect for staring up at the stars or inwards at yourself.
  19. Sun & Moon
    by Timbre
SUN: Song of the Sun SUN: Song of the Sun
This album is artfully sculpted, and displays the strength of talent and vision of Timbre. My personal favorite is Song of the Sun, which displays a similar cheerful and soothing sound to an Enya track, it just makes me smile!
